Background

Buddhapadipa Sunday School has been opened since 1986.  

Our Mission is to ensure that the children understand Thai languages , Thai Culture as well as some understanding of Buddhism which is the predominant religion in Thailand.

The school is located in Buddhapadipa Temple in Wimbledon. 

HOW TO APPLY

Enrolment is opened from December to February each year. Lessons for the new academy year begins on the first Sunday of March.

Google Form is to be created.

Course Fee

The course fee for each academic year will be decided by the school management. 
Current course fee is GBP120.00 per academy year.

Every Sundays at 13:00-16:00
13:00-13:30 | Chanting in Basement
13:30-14:30 | 1st Period of Lesson 
14:30-15:00 | Break
15:00-16:00 | 2nd Period of Lesson

School Rules

  1. Buddhapadipa Sunday School is opened to children aged between 6-12 years old.
  2. The school has approximately 20 study days each term, 3 hours per day.
  3. Teachers, parents and students must regularly attend activities promoted by the temple.
  4. Students are permitted to be absent for a maximum of 3 times (3 Sundays) in one term.  For each absence a written letter must be given to the class teacher.
  5. Electronic devices are not allowed to be used in the classroom.
